Today you spent the block period in the computer lab, working on your initial draft of the college essay. You turned in whatever you had done (your goal was to get at least 500 words down.) There a bazillion resources available to you to help you with your essay, both here at school and on the web. On the P Drive under the "Teachers" folder, click my name and you'll find the essay prompts from various Colorado schools (including CU, CSU, Regis, Denver University, the Art Institute, etc.,) an essay planner, and a list of web resources. There is also some links on this site to check out...just look to the link lists on the right.)Make sure you save a copy for yourself and turn in a hard copy to me. On Friday, we're going to over some grammar stuff and do some peer editing. If you were absent, please type up your rough draft and get to me no later than Friday.
