Make sure you take good notes, as you will be expected to know these terms and locate examples of their use in the novel. I also checked out books to you today, so if you were absent you need to make sure you get a copy checked out to you on Monday. The rest of the period was spent independently reading Chapters 2 and 3. For homework, please finish reading to the end of Chapter 3 and complete the two "Delving In" questions, located on your Literary Road Maps. Complete on your own sheet of paper and turn in on Monday.
